Components: Each link opens a separate map for one risk factor in the composite H5N1 score.
Early outbreak: Where spillover and introduction are more likely (avian exposure, waterfowl habitat).
Long-term burden: Where sustained transmission and severe outcomes may concentrate.
Modeled ZIP incidence: Daily incidence from the SV–EAI–R–D compartment model, split across ZIPs with weights ∝ population × composite risk — illustrative, not a fitted spatial model. Three scenarios in severity order: Seasonal flu (best), Pandemic Flu (moderate) (2009 H1N1 analogue), and COVID-like (worst). Each opens a peak-day snapshot. Hospital catchments & comparison: Separate from incidence — each ZIP is assigned to its nearest hospital, plus a cross-scenario table of top hospital systems and high-case / low-bed ZIPs. See docs/risk_map/ZIP_HOSPITAL_ASSIGNMENT.md.
Interactive compartment model (Shiny). Population incidence, sliders (R₀, CFR, reporting), expected ward/ICU demand vs DOH free-bed capacity, and bed-strain KPIs (first day at capacity, cumulative cases, duration) — same SV–EAI–R–D structure as the repository model.
